About this product
Product description.
Tala ceramic baking beans are reusable weights for blind-baking pastry cases. Spread them over baking parchment inside the pastry to help keep the base flat while it cooks. These are ceramic baking tools, not edible beans.
Allow the weights to cool before handling them. Wash them by hand and leave them to air-dry before storage, following the product's care instructions. Use enough weights to cover the lined pastry base evenly rather than placing them directly onto the dough.
